Delete Your Drifter Account

This page explains how users of the Drifter app can request account deletion and what data is deleted or retained.

How To Request Deletion

  1. Send an email to with the subject line: Drifter Account Deletion Request.
  2. Include the email address used for your Drifter account.
  3. Our team may reply to verify account ownership before processing.
  4. Once verified, deletion is processed and confirmation is sent by email.

What Data Is Deleted

Data Type Action After Deletion Request
Account profile data (name, email, login identity) Deleted from active systems after request verification.
User-linked app preferences and portfolio watch settings Deleted from active systems.
User-associated analysis history stored in app databases Deleted or anonymized so it is no longer linked to your identity.

What Data May Be Retained

Data Type Retention
Security logs and fraud-prevention records Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted unless a longer period is required for abuse investigation.
System backups containing limited account records May remain in encrypted backup cycles for up to 30 days before automatic overwrite.
Records required by law or regulatory obligations Retained only as required by applicable law, then deleted.
